The new HP 33S is the successor to the HP 32SII and going by its overall quality it seems pretty good, the keys have a good solid feel, like traditional HP calculators. It has about 80 times the memory of the HP-32SII, and I found it to run about 2.5 times faster. The manual is excellent -- clear and very well written, and similar to the HP-32SII manual.
It has many new features like both RPN and algebraic entry modes, several new functions like cube, cube root, signum etc, a 40 built-in physical constants menu, 4-way cursor keys, and 2-line display. Talking of drawbacks the decimal point and comma are way too small which can be rather difficult to see, the keyboard tends to give a cluttered look, but apart from these minor flaws this is a much recommended calculator to any science or engineering student and professionals, probably the best one being made today.
