The ProjectCalc Plus is one of the many Materials models manufactured by Calculated Industries for calculating material requirements. Mind you the advertising package isn't clear about all the functions like it can convert decimals to fractions and then back again.
Although, it won't find run and rise for stair treads but, it does just about everything else, if there' anything negative to say about the unit, it' the cluttered look about the buttons which really make for a hard reading. It can also define and store values for building materials which is really handy, also fractions are easy to calculate rather than pushing hundreds of different buttons. After all is said and done, this unit is a great deal for the price it comes at.
